Notes: Henry has tested well with other dogs but does need proper introduction as excitement can build quickly. Henry would be best in a household with no young children and also needs a cat free home. Henry, 22 months, has been through hell and back and his short lifetime. Henry was originally surrendered to a veterinary office when he had a foreign body his humans could not afford surgery for. After recovery it was found he also had distemper. After being nursed back to health, AND treated for heartworms he was finally adopted out. Sadly, Henry was too much energy for that adoptive home and brought to us. Henry has spent much of his life in a kennel at a veterinary office and while they did all they could for him, he did lack the socialization a pup should have. He has not had much interaction with other pups. He does not take clues, so comes out very excited. An Alpha dog might not have patience for him. Henry is sweet but needs a home committed to training and helping him be the very best version of himself.
